Overall, this gun rates in about Very Good plus condition. The Screw heads are good and serviceable. There is one very small ding near the serial number. The balance of the finish shows normal wear from use and storage. Overall Condition: This gun retains about 95% of its metal finish. Type of Finish: Plum Brown Finish Originality: Original Bore Condition: The bore is good and the rifling is sharp and deep. The stocks rate in about fair overall condition. There is a missing chip at the end of the stock where the butt plate fits. The bottom of the buttstock at the buttplate has a through crack which has been repaired but not very well.
